the expression of voice:
the voice that's only heard
in the silence;
the gentle sound
of your own soul, calling,
asking to be received
at least by you
with a loving embrace;
the song of your heart
waiting
wanting to be heard;
the one which dares to ask
what if you no longer had to be
afraid of being afraid;
the one which can surrender
to every loving vibration,
can welcome it in
can say a wholehearted
yes
to being
alive.

New
Black hole eyes
Absorbing all
To create
A new universe within:
One I would
Rip, tear, shred and kill
To preserve.
I feel your scent bodily
As I drink you in with
Kisses, kisses, kisses,
Soothe your vulnerabilities
With gentle caresses.
All is gentle
Now life is love
And fierceness.

Heart's Desire
I was lost, unaware, in betrayal.
Constantly running,
My heart's desire dragging behind -
The guilt so heavy in each breath
I dared not look back
To see its bones bounce with each step.
Instead I carried a polluted womb
Too toxic for life to grow,
That gave birth to dead babies
For years and years.
I could never carry one
Full term
But screamed for death
Half way through.
In she would come,
Faithful Kali
With her icy hands
To destroy the dream
Before it could begin.
Now I've asked her forgiveness
And she held me with such love,
Such tenderness and wisdom
That I saw my wounds
For what they were.

My Voice
I don't know what my voice sounds like.
It is a chameleon
Of inferiority and insecurity,
Blame and mistrust.
It is tiny and squeaky and hurts my throat.
My voice has no breath behind it:
The intention is sucked in,
Not blown out.
My voice is unpredictable:
It scares me.
My voice is fitting in with
You, you and you.
It is strict control, serious,
Blackness and despair;
Grief and years of tears.
My voice is hiding,
Unable to speak.
Frustration and temptation.
A riddle to be solved - or not.
Perhaps it is a mystery!
A wonder of imagination,
Flights of experimentation,
A path of exploration
Asking Who - Am - I?
My voice is real and strong,
Powerful and true,
Deep as my core,
Light as hair.
My voice is an expression
Of who I am right now
Right now and right now,
Changing with me to suit
My mood, not you.
Yes hell can come out of my voice
But so can heaven:
Delight, love and laughter
Are mine for the speaking.
My voice is my passion,
Beliefs, values and trust:
Trust I offer up with each word.
It is song, deliciousness,
The whisperings of intimacy.
It is the roar of honesty
To stand back, get out,
No no NO!
Or a soft invitation:
Welcome.
Yes.
My voice is alive
With new found ways of being;
It is deeply precious.
My voice is who I am:
Changeable.
